What is good debt? Good debt is debt that puts money IN (cashflow) your pocket month after month after the expenses of your debt are paid. Hopefully your asset you acquired via debt earns you residual income, and is leverageable. ie. Real estate that you buy and hold and tenants pay off mortgage and give you cashflow. ... maybe a network marketing business where the leverage up others generate massive cashflow and you have little to no expenses nor inventory.
What is bad debt? Bad debt is debt that takes money OUT of your pocket and offers you no cashflow, residual income, nor leverage. ie. Credit card debt that purchases liabilities. College debt is another huge example. Medical bills, etc.

Remember that great debt extended out looses it's power because of inflation. Again the key is to make sure you garner cashflow, residual income, and have the power of leverage. ... Also good debt is taxed less than bad debt. ... and flipping houses is capital gains and taxed heavier because of capital gains.... but that's another story. Go out and learn some more between cashflow vs. capital gains. ;)
Remember that it's the wealthy who want and welcome debt- good debt. ... and it's the poverty consciousness and uneducated financially peoples class who hate debt and categorize it pejoratively as all bad. What's your choice: wealth, or poverty?
